The opening reception for Anne Lincoln’s show, “Under Changing Skies,” will be Friday, Sept. 13, from 6-8 pm at International House Davis.
Her medium is oil paintings
“When I arrived at UC Davis as a freshman in the ’60s, (originally from Gary, Indiana) I was immediately entranced with the peaceful qualities of Davis and the greater Valley area. It has been my home for the last 40 years and I am still discovering new, inspiring vistas to paint,” she said.
“Although I’ve periodically taken art classes, it is only in the last 7 years that I’ve focused my attention on art. I have studied with diverse artists including Ann Rea, David Hollowell, Philippe Gandiol and Diana Jahns. Artists whose style interest me include Richard Diebenkorn, Wolf Kahn and Sarah Waldron.
The reception is free and open to the public.
