3:00PM Distinguished Guest Lecture, Secrets of Delicious and Healthy Chinese food with James Pan

This special guest lecture will introduce the audience to the role of fermented food and other key ingredients in Chinese cuisine. James Pan received his BS in Biochemistry and attended the UC Davis PhD program in Food Science and Technology. As a chemist he focuses on food safety, food extrusion, high protein energy drinks and pasta, all utilizing novel ingredients. A reception will immediately follow the lecture.
