What a great weekend at I-House! It started out on Friday night with a wonderful movie, “Salmon Fishing in Yemen,” which turned out to be a love story. At the conclusion, everyone in the Community Room clapped with pleasure. That was followed on Saturday night by an Indian music concert by the Nada Brahma Ensemble. The Community Room became an intimate club for myriad classical Indian music fans. Then, on Sunday, we had a great and well-attended storytelling event with Angela James conducting a clinic on Caribbean/Irish tales. The weekend offered just what I-House wants to be known for: accessible international events for every taste and culture and FUN!
