Mission Statement

International House Davis promotes respect and appreciation for all people and cultures. We encourage a global community by providing many opportunities for cross-cultural interaction and exchange.

Board of Directors

The list of Board of Directors and minutes from the Board of Directors' meetings.

The Executive Committee

This committee consists of the four elected officers of the Board, the chairs of the three standing committees, the executive director, and the immediate past president. The activities of the Executive Committee are to manage interim business and make decisions, to conduct business specifically referred to it by the Board, and to propose policies and procedures for Board consideration. Major decisions are subject to ratification by the Board.

The Standing Committees

Each board member is expected to serve on one of the three Standing Committees - The Program Committee, Development Committee, Management Committee. These committees are collectively responsible for guiding and overseeing all aspects of I-House.

Staff

Staff is responsible for implementing the policies based on the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors.
