Thanks to all our great volunteers, performers, food vendors, children, sales vendors, adults in and out of costume, Chancellor Linda Kathehi and Emcee Sandy Holman and Mayor Joe Krovoza, I-House board members and the thousands of people from Davis and the surrounding area — including our guest speaker Terari Trent from Zimbabwe and Central California — and media reps from the Davis Enterprise and the Woodland Daily Democrat — well, let’s just say that Oct. 12, 2013 went down in history as a joyful event and true celebration of “unity in diversity.”

Now, mark your calendars for next year: International Festival 2014 will take place on SUNDAY, Oct. 5 in Central Park in Davis.
