Diana Arkans will bring a German poet’s work to the event, Theodor Storm’s “Meeresstrand (Sea Beach)”.
Fadhil Al-Kazily will read the poem “My Mother” in Arabic.
Yuki Murayama from Japan and Jennifer Hsieh originally from Taiwan will also present select pieces in Japanese and Mandarin.
If you have poetry to share in another language, join us for an open-mic session, too. The event begins at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 17. It is open to public and refreshment will be served. For more information, contact Jennifer Hsieh at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (831)840-8089.
