New Spanish teacher sought

International House Davis mourns the loss of Adriana Elisa Parra-Fox, who has returned to her home country of Colombia for an exciting new job.
“I will return to Chocó where I have been asked to help build a department of social and economic development at the university there. I will miss you and all the wonderful people I had the opportunity to interact with,” she said in her letter resigning from the I-House board of directors.
She also was the very popular teacher of the advanced Spanish conversation class at I-House, which meets every Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. She will be difficult to replace but we are actively looking for a replacement.
If your Spanish is excellent and you would like to work with a group of lovely hard-working people committed to Spanish, please let Executive Director Elisabeth Sherwin know as soon as possible. We require at least a year-long commitment from our volunteer teachers. Sherwin can be reached at Thank you!
