A Day in Egypt - 2008 Annual International Conference Announcement

On April 26, 2008 International House-Davis will host its Annual Conference. $10 admission tickets will include participation in door prize drawing and all activities throughout the day. This year, the activities of the conference will be focused on the Magical country of Egypt. This event is co-sponsored by the Egyptian Consulate General Press & Information Bureau, and, will celebrate the history, art, culture, literature and contributions of Egypt to the world. Spend a day in this enchanting country, tasting its food, traveling along the majestic Nile, listening to the sounds, learning to write your name in a couple of new languages, marveling at the rich culture, reflecting upon films, and so much more. The event will also feature a live band, a bazaar, a children's program, educational lectures and a live museum by groups of elementary school children. A drawing for a Nile cruise will also take place at the I-House. A fun day for young and old...a great day for the family to enjoy!
