Facility Rentals - General Information
Looking for a beautiful event venue or a comfortable meeting space? International House Davis hosts numerous international events and activities and is first and foremost a place of hospitality for international visitors. Information on rental fees and photo tour are available online.
I-House is ideally located in a historic Davis home, on a main boulevard across from the Davis campus of the University of California, and within walking distance to downtown Davis. It is situated on the I-80 corridor about 70 miles northeast of San Francisco and 15 miles west of Sacramento. Amtrak trains from both cities stop in Davis, and the Sacramento International Airport is only 20 miles away. Transportation from the airport is available by bus, shuttle, or taxi. See map.
International House Davis hosts numerous international events and activities and is first and foremost a place of hospitality for international visitors. The helpful I-House staff can assist in meeting the rental needs of many groups for a variety of events. I-House can provide a list of caterers familiar with the facility, or food may be prepared in the I-House kitchen. A variety of items and equipment are available for rent and I-House will attempt to accommodate any special equipment or furniture needs.
The community is invited to reserve the facility. Please see detailed descriptions and rental fees or take a photo tour. It is not required to be a member of I-House; however, businesses and organizations paying $100 for business memberships may credit that amount annually towards the use of the facilities.
One-half of the total rental fee is required before a reservation is confirmed. The remainder is due no later than 30 days after the event.
Floor plans and facility layouts for four multipurpose rooms and two outdoor terrace/patio areas, that can accommodate from 10 to 120 people, are available. The entire facility or single rooms may be rented for elaborate events such as weddings and business retreats, right down to smaller more intimate gatherings. The International House Davis is wheelchair-accessible and parking is available in the I-House parking lot. Additional parking is available for a small fee on the UCD campus, and, on College Park after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
