2:00-3:00 p.m., Local storyteller, Vicki Crescitelli returned to I-House to present another lively program of stories from around the world.
Storytelling: Acme Theatre Company and UNICEF Awareness, Sunday October 19, 2008
2:00 - 3:00 p.m., Members of the Acme Theatre Company in Davis presented an adaptation of the classic French fairytale "Puss in Boots". There were opportunities for children and parents to interact with the actors after the performance. All donations at the storytelling performance were given to UNICEF.

2:00 - 3:00 p.m., Francie Dillon, an award-winning entertainer and educator, shared some of the culturally-rich and funny Uncle Remus stories.
Storytelling: Dave Nachmanoff - Songwriting by and for Kids, Sunday December 7, 2008
2:00 - 3:00 p.m., Dave Nachmanoff presented an afternoon of songs and songwriting by, for and with children. He played some songs written by children in workshops he has led around the world. Children in the audience helped Dave write a song on the day of the performance.

Storytelling: NewStar Chinese School, Sunday January 11, 2009
2:00 - 3:00 p.m., Children of the NewStar Chinese School in Davis presented a program focusing on Chinese culture, including dancing, singing, martial arts and storytelling. After the performance students wrote names in Chinese characters.
Storytelling: Sandy Holman, Sunday February 8, 2009
2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sandy Holman presented a lively and interactive program celebrating cultural diversity and African heritage. It was an afternoon of storytelling, music and fun. Director and Founder of The Culture C.O.-O.P., an organization that works to foster awareness of and appreciation for culturally diverse communities, Sandy is an award-winning author of children’s books and a diversity consultant.
Storytelling: Robert Greygrass - Lakota stories and music, Sunday March 8, 2009
2:00 - 3:00 p.m., Robert Greygrass, Native American storyteller, traveled to Davis to tell Lakota stories and to play his cedar flute and sing for the audience.
Storytelling: Heidi Bekebrede, Multi-cultural stories and songs, Sunday April 19, 2009
2:00 - 3:00 p.m., Davis resident and multi talented, whimsical artist, Heidi Bekebrede, told stories and shared some original songs. "Heidi lives her life much like a palette of color. From dancing, singing, writing, painting and sculpting to teaching art, Heidi does is all!".
Storytelling: Jean Jackman, Stories and Songs, Sunday May 17, 2009
2:00 - 3:00 p.m., JEAN JACKMAN presented a delightful and varied performance at the May Storytelling event, the last performance before the summer break. She shared stories and songs from cultures around the world, including some stories about Davis. The audience enjoyed participating in the telling of the stories as well as singing and dancing to the music.
