Women's Program : Connections
International and American women meet weekly to socialize, share their joys, and help each other with their problems. One group meets Tuesday evenings 7:30 - 9 pm; the Wednesday morning group participants bring their children of any age and meet 10-11:30 am. There is no fee to join and no need to call ahead to attend.
Connections has been greeting newcomers to the Davis area for decades. Based on simple kindness and an interest in making friends from all over the world, connections members host an open-house coffee every Wednesday morning of the year. Each week at least one new arrival hears about Connections and arrives at the door to be greeted by friendly faces who can make adjusting to the new environment a pleasant adventure. All are welcome and when you attend you will see brand new babies to grandmothers, students, professionals, and no-doubt you will meet someone else from your country.
You are invited to Connection on any Wednesday at 10 am. There is a
parking lot available and those without transportation can call
International House for a ride.
