Friendship Program
The Friendship Program links international visitors, students and scholars with local hosts to share customs, improve their English skills, and add a personal dimension to their experience of studying or working in Northern California.
Local hosts may invite their international visitors for occasional meals, bike rides, walks, sport events, farmer's markets, movies, trips, holiday celebrations and outings.
All participants in this program are volunteers. Their reward is
the satisfactions of making new friends and learning about other
cultures and viewpoints, which often results in life-long
friendships.
To participate as a visitor or as a local host download the appropriate form (VISITOR or HOST), fill out and mail it to International House Davis, 10 College Park, Davis, CA 95616 or email it to friendship@internationalhousedavis.org.
