March 3

The 8th season of Sunday(s) @ I-House commences on March 3. Doors open at 6:45pm. Local performer and producer James Williams hosts the return of his musical fundraising series, that continues to benefit International House Davis. featuring local bands and other performers. The evening will begin with a rare appearance by James & Marti. The event’s producer and long-time Davis-based singer, joins with musical co-creator, pianist Marti Meyer to romp, with Jazz standards and show-tunes as their playground. As always, nostalgia and rekindled memories will fill the air, buoyed by voice and piano.

The featured act for the evening is the return of Gabe Lewin with Kindred Spirits. This Davis-based ensemble’s ambition is simply to have fun and make good music…no matter the genre. Their songs (many originals) embrace American folk, rock, blues, reggae, and more. Gabe Lewin’s vocals, guitar, and harmonica blend well with other vocals by Lane Suarez; and Ted Fontaine, who also kicks in the bass. Bob Lindley on Violin and e-mandolin rounds out the group, along with Richard Day on lead guitar; and Johnny Flores on percussion.

This evening of entertainment is an on-going fundraiser that continues to benefit I-House. Suggested donation for this event is $5 to $20, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Beverages and snacks will also be available to purchase. Any size donations are appreciated.
