Global Family Festivals

Global Family Festival series 2019-2020

The Global Family Festival series is a special collaboration between I-House Davis and the Peregrine School. GFF events take place every second Sunday afternoon, once a month, from November through June (except December and May) from 3 pm to 5 pm. Each program includes an activity, a cultural performance, and a food component. Experienced teachers will guide children through the activities and help them grasp complex topics in a tangible way. Children will learn how the place they live connects with the wider world through agriculture, migrations of people and animals, shared celebrations, and ecology.

The program is designed for elementary school age children from 2 to 10 years old, but all ages are welcome. Each child has to be accompanied by an adult.

The final Festival for this year will be on Sunday June 9th from 3 to 5 pm! The theme is Freedom and will feature art, stories and an exciting performance by Song Ground, the highly popular duo of singer-song leaders, Laura Sandage and Doreen Conte! Suggested donation: $10 per family; $5 for members.  Further donations are gratefully accepted for families that cannot afford a donation.

We hope you will join us at all Global Family Festival events and will consider extending your involvement with I-House to become a member. We greatly appreciate the families, schools, organizations, and businesses that support this program financially and with their attendance and publicity each year.
