See works by Gandiol, Judson at I-House

In May two shows will continue at International House Davis : Philippe Gandiol is showing his oil paintings in the Community Room and Marilyn Judson is showing her paper sculptures in the Lounge. He is showing three still lifes, and an array of oils on canvas and linen depicting scenes from Northern California.
Judson’s show is titled “Then and Now.”
“Something about working with paper is very exciting to me and I always come back to it in one form or another,” she said. “Paper sculpture is my latest venture.”
 In June, I-House will show works by Lucy Sargeant in the Community Room and a group show “Let Our Voices Be Heard,” led by Raquel Rojas, will be in the Lounge. The artists represented in the group show include: Rocky Rojas, Shelly Kousnetz, Melissa Marzan, Kevin Lozano, Faire Yang and Brea Dawson. Jeffrey Granett, chair of the I-House Art Committee, will be exhibiting new work at Logos Books downtown, 513 Second St., with the opening reception on Friday, May 10.

“No linoleum block prints this year,” he said. “Something different: Plexiglas drypoint prints. Come see. Opinions needed.”
