Support DHS by viewing ‘Slingshot’ on Feb. 14, 2015

A student at the Business/Media team of Citrus Circuits Robotics, the Davis High School Robotics Team, correctly thought that I-House members might be interested in viewing a documentary about Dean Kamen and his journey to solve the world’s water crisis. On Feb. 14 the documentary  ‘Slingshot’ will be shown  at the Brunelle Performance Hall in Davis.  The movie is about a low-cost, portable clean-water system that FIRST Robotics founder Dean Kamen has invented. The trailer can be found here https://vimeo.com/114286950. It focuses on global sustainability.
Students are selling tickets at $10 each for general admission and an additional set for $50 that include preferred seating and a tour of the robotics team’s workshop on campus. Ice cream will be provided after the screening! Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the movie starts at 7 p.m. Buy tickets at www.tugg.com/events/13309.
