Tons happening at I-House in October

The new Docent Speaker Series will begin with a luncheon on Monday, Oct. 4 at noon with a new Humphrey Fellow, Ana Lucia Lepure, speaking about Mexico. Please bring a dish to share.

You will also want to know that a free movie about the Suffragettes will be shown on Thursday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. here at I-house, called “Iron-Jawed Angels.”

An art reception, free and open to the public, will take place Friday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. at I-House to welcome the works of Melissa Ann Wood.

On Sunday, Oct. 10 at 2 p.m. the International Storytelling Program for children will feature the Acme Theater Co. of Davis performing folk tales.

On Sunday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. the fundraiser known as Hope Walks will begin in Arroyo Park in West Davis — bring the whole family and walk to eliminate AIDS! This event is co-sponsored by International House.
