International House will be jumping this weekend with two BIG events — on Saturday, the 20-minute documentary “Sahaya — Going Beyond,” will be screened several times at a FREE Indian festival celebrating the fact that one person can make big changes in the world. Your host will be Sahaya founder Koen Van Rompay and his Indian counterpart Mr. Selvam. The director, Hollywood actor Andy Lauer, also will be at I-House. Join us at 6 p.m. Saturday.

On Sunday the final “Sundays at I-House” open mike event of the season will take place from 7 to 10 p.m., also free, and this time we will be celebrating the host, James Williams, and his sidekick/producer Matthew Harral. “We are taking advantage of this last event of the season — James and Matthew will be back later in the year — to thank them, offer free food and admission, and thank our many student volunteers, docents and interns,” said Elisabeth Sherwin, executive director. Clarence Van Hook will be one of the several featured entertainers.
